Swarnandhra Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET), Narsapur, was started as a private engineering institute by The Vasista Educational Society that was managed by technocrats of various industries. The Institute has been situated in 40 acres of greenery land at the Seetharampuram (NH 214A) that is 5 km away from Narsapur Town. SIET has been wholly improved its infrastructural facilities, consisting of 60 hi-tech classrooms, four seminar halls, 14tutorial rooms, 15 computer labs, four drawing halls, 33 laboratories. The institute also has five girls standard rooms, three workshops, a conference hall, canteen, central library, and digital library.
SIET, Narsapur was previously thrice accredited by NBA and currently is certified by NAAC with 3.32 CGPA and ‘A’ grade. The programs offered at the institute are Polytechnic Diploma, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, and M.Tech with specializations. SIET has been affiliated with JNTU, Kakinada, AICTE, New Delhi, and DTE, Hyderabad's approval.
