Stella Maris College Chennai is a premier public catholic institution that provides good higher education to the women of the state of Tamil Nadu. The college is an autonomous college affiliated with the university of Madras. It was established on 15 August 1947. The college is administrated under the institute of Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. Primary purpose of the college is to establish a vibrant learning community that promotes excellence & social change among its people.
