St. Joseph's Evening College (Autonomous) is a reputable educational institution established in 1972 and managed by the Bangalore Jesuit Educational Society. This autonomous College was formerly a part of St. Joseph's College. In 2004, St. Joseph's Evening College became independent and gained autonomy. It is the only Independent Autonomous Evening College in India accredited by NAAC. It is one of the Best Evening Colleges in Bangalore.
The College's mission is to provide a comprehensive education that fosters academic excellence. Despite being a minority institution, SJEC has a history of offering liberal education to students of all religious backgrounds without discrimination.
