In 1994, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, also known as SRIT, was established in Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu. SRIT is recognized by UGC and is affiliated with Anna University. The main goal of SRIT Coimbatore is to provide students with everything they need to become successful engineers and scientists by teaching them essential knowledge, honing their skills, developing their character, and engaging in extra-curricular activities. NAAC has rated it with an A grade accreditation. According to the WEEK Survey, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College Ranking is 180 under Engineering Category. There are 5 undergraduate and 3 postgraduate courses offered by Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology. At the UG level, BE/B Tech is offered; MBA and M Tech are offered at the PG level. NBA accredits all the UG Engineering Programs. SRIT is a hub for 2120 Students and 163 competent faculties. More than 50 faculties hold Ph.D. qualifications.

According to the Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology admission criteria, candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can apply. Candidates wish to apply for B.E/B. Tech admissions are required to participate in TNEA counseling. SRIT Coimbatore admission to the M Tech or MBA is made based on marks obtained by candidates in the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University.
