My college was started by the SDM Educational Society which is not just into providing quality education in medical field but also is creating a revolutionary in the health care services mostly in the northern part of Karnataka. The entire campus is spread in the 65 acres and in an atmosphere very serene and calm. There are medical college and hospital; Nursing College, hostel of students; staff quarters and Physiotherapy College are all housed within the campus. Each and every person who has taken treatment has always been very happy because of the team of wonderful doctors they have and the way they treat them.
The Diploma programme in SDM College Medical Sciences and Hospital is offered in various specializations and I opted for Medical laboratory technology and the period of diploma was two years. The course fee is also very feasible it is around INR 8500 per year, for two years course the fee is INR 17K. Facilities like advanced classroom, library with stocked books, bank, sports, gym and even hostel facility is given with reasonable hostel fee structure. Syllabus and the academic curriculum planned in the college is as per RGUHS rules and regulations. Diploma degree from this college is very much valid and worth since it is MCI approved college.
I am studying MBBS course from past two years in this college. SDM College Medical Sciences and Hospital is the best college in Dharwad which offers exceptional education in medical domain. The College infrastructure is good and the facilities are satisfactory and we have well experienced teaching faculties and they are very supportive. College also 1 year internship facility in linked hospital to offers us practical exposure. I stay in Hostel and the rooms are well maintained with required amenities. SDM Medical college fee for MBBS course costs approximate 1 Lakh for very first year and from 2nd year I paid the fee around 97,000 hence for the overall course duration it costs around 4 Lakhs. SDM Medical College Dharwad admissions for MBBS will be done through NEET score
