S.K.P Engineering College is a self-funded university which is sponsored by the trust called as Sri. The S. Kuppusaamy Memorial Educational Trust was founded in 1999 with the venerable objective of providing technical knowledge Education for the rural masses in Tiruvannamalai and its surroundings The S.K.P Engineering College is recognized by AICTE in New Delhi and is currently affiliated with Anna University in Chennai. The institution allows all students to be the best professionals in the industry and get them to participate competently and safely in high-level programs.
- The S.K.P Engineering College was created by the National Accreditation Board (NBA), an autonomous body of the Technical Education Council of India (AICTE), for the departments Computer Science and Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and communication Engineering.
- The S.K.P Engineering College, originally approved to work with four Bachelors of engineering/technology programs with 240 students now offer six B.E. / B. Tech. Programs in UG and seven PG Engineering programs and one program in management stream with an annual admission of 1086 aspirants for various disciplines.
- S.K.P Engineering College has a high-speed Internet of 20 Mbps IT infrastructure through leased dedicated lines. It has a large library in an area of ??1440 square meters with a total collection of 65,000 books, 3500 Back Volume Journals, 15,000 Reference books and 2000 technical volumes and scientific journals of IEEE and others.
Wi-Fi enabled hostels are provided for children separately with mess installation and with all comfortable facilities.
