Sinhgad Institute of Management Admission
Because of its popularity, the Sinhgad Institute of Management receives thousands of applications each year for admission to its courses. Therefore, SIOM follows a centralized admissions procedure, with the following steps, to ensure a fair admissions process:
80% of seats are filled through CAP (Centralized admission process). The remaining 20% of seats are filled CAP against the Sinhgad Institute of Management Management quota, commonly known as the institution quota.
How can I get admission to Sinhgad College for MBA?
- Any graduate of a recognized university with a valid score on the MAH-MBA, MMS-CET, CAT, or CMAT entrance exams and at least 50% overall (45% for candidates from economically disadvantaged groups, persons with disabilities, and Maharashtra State residents only).
- Individual and group interviews with valid scores will be scheduled for candidates.
- Candidates who performed exceptionally well in all selection steps will be chosen for the course.
- Students applying for CAP Quota must register on DTE official website. Then, through centralized counselling, seats will be allotted according to preference.
MCA Eligibility/Selection Criteria
- The candidate must have a degree in mathematics, either at the 10+2 or graduate level, as a required subject.
- To be considered for the course, applicants must have 50%.
- The backward category and residents of Maharashtra state are exempt from this requirement by 5%.
- The candidate applying for the course must have passed the DTE's AIMCET or MAH CET exam with a valid score.
- A second round of Group Discussion and Personal Interviews will be held for candidates on the Institute's Cutoff list.

- The library- Some of the best collections of the most recent management publications can be found. Additionally, the library subscribes to numerous online resources. Between 8 a.m. and 12 a.m., the library is open 16 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, the reading hall of the library is open all year round.
- The Computing Facilities- Institute has 13 well-equipped computer labs. The labs are outfitted with cutting-edge HP and Dell equipment. Whiteboards and LCD projectors are also available in each lab.
- Classrooms There are 33 classrooms at the Institute. There are 70 students in each classroom. Both an LCD projector and a whiteboard are provided in each classroom.
- Seminar Halls- The Institute has two seminar halls holding nearly 125 people each. The most cutting-edge audio and video systems are in place in the seminar halls.
- Facilities for Transportation- The campus is easily accessible from all modes of public transportation. In addition, there is a PMT city bus stop on campus.
- Campus Clinic- Students and staff can go to the clinic for routine checkups. Additionally, we have a dental hospital with cutting-edge facilities.
- Sinhgad Institute of Management Hostel is available for both boys and girls. Admission to the hostel is on a first-come, first-serve basis. The fee is approximately INR 76,000 per annum.
