The Shyam Knowledge Park Shiksha Samiti started Shyam Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET) by the Rajasthan Societies Registration Act in 1958. The college is situated near the Pink City of Jaipur with a salubrious and lush green environment covering 65000 sq. ft. The aim is to provide a good infrastructure for disseminating, creating, and applying knowledge where the industry, lecturers, and students work hard to achieve their common goal.
- The vision is to become a center of excellence to nurture the students and faculties to make the socially conscious and self-reliant engineers.
- The institute makes it a learning center rather than a teaching center to produce professional engineers as per requirements in the industrial sectors.
- SIET offers undergraduate engineering courses like B.Tech with specializations in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering.
- The institute has various facilities like medical, library, classrooms, laboratories, cafeterias, hostels, Wi-Fi, transport, and sports facilities within the campus.
The meritorious students are provided with scholarships based on RPET General rank and the 12th standard examination. The students who are far from home are provided with a hostel facility with the required facilities to provide a comfortable stay and excel academically.
