Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College is one of the Top Engineering Colleges in Shegaon. It was established in 1983 by Shri Gajanan Shikshan Sanstha. It is affiliated with Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, recognized by AICTE, New Delhi, and Approved by DTE, Maharashtra. SSGMCE Courses are accredited by the NBA (4 to 5 times). SSGMCE offers BE/B Tech at the UG level in five streams: IT, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, and Electronics and telecom. The annual intake for each branch is 60 students, while for Electronics and Telecommunication, the seat is limited to 120. SSGMCE offers postgraduate courses in MBA with an annual intake of 60 seats and ME/M Tech in four disciplines, namely Computer Engineering, Digital Electronics, Advanced Manufacturing, and Electrical Power. Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering course admission through two modes, the Centralized admission process (CAP) and the institute level, per DTE, Maharashtra guidelines. To be considered for BE/B Tech admission, candidates must score at least a qualifying score in MHT-CET/JEE Main. ME/M Tech admissions will be based on the candidate's scores in the GATE Entrance Exam and aggregate marks obtained in bachelor's degree BE/B Tech. Candidates' scores in CAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/GMAT or MAH CET, as well as their bachelor's degree, will determine their MBA admission.
Those applicants who satisfy the Shri Sant Gajanan Maharaj College of Engineering cut-off criterion can acquire a seat during the CAP seat allotment procedure as per their preference. At first, seats will be filled through CAP rounds, administrated by DTE, Maharashtra. The college authority will announce institute-level quota admission if a seat remains vacant after CAP rounds.
