Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Sahitya Sammelan established Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha in 1962. The college is recognized and is a member of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. Later in the year, 1987 UGC granted a Deemed to be University that NAAC accredits. During the last 38 years, the institute has received the attention of great leaders, personalities, legislative assemblies, members of parliament and, industrialists also the general public as one of the leading Vidyapeetha.
