The renowned engineering college Saveetha Engineering College was founded in 2001 and is managed by the Saveetha Medical and Educational Trust. The college is AICTE-approved, NBA-accredited, and allied with Anna University. In 2015, NAAC accredited SEC with an "A" Grade. Saveetha Engineering College B Tech admission is based on 10+2 merit followed by TNEA Counselling. All interested aspirants are required to register for TNEA Counselling based on their 12th results. M Tech admissions are offered to those qualified in GATE or TANCET. In contrast, admission to the MBA is based on TANCET scores followed by TANCA Counselling.
