The institute is named after the great freedom fighter, Behen Satyawati (Behen means sister). The campus has an area of 10 acres. Satyawati College Results
The institute conducts two end semesters examinations for both even and odd semesters. Thus, the college conducts examinations twice in a year- The odd Semester examination is conducted in November-December, and the even semester's examination is conducted in May-June.
The odd semester examination result mainly announces in January every year, whereas the Even Semester examination results are reported in July-August. Students of Satyawati College must check their results through Delhi University's Result Portal.

The college has an area that spreads over 10 acres. The college has fully equipped classrooms, a library with over 70,000 books, a seminar hall, two well-equipped computer labs, a canteen, a bank, and more facilities.
