Established in 2001, the Sambhram Institute of Technology (SaIT) is part of the Sambhram Group. In contrast, the Sambhram Education Trust administrates the group and runs several professionals college in Bangalore, KGF in Karnataka State. The Institute has technical society membership in IETE, Computer Society of India (CSI), ISTE, and IEEE Student. Sambhram College Bangalore aims to provide a quality education that matches the needs of Students. And deliver knowledge that caters to industrial standards. As a result, SaIT has been recognized as one of the leading educational institutes.
Sambhram Institute of Technology Bangalore is VTU affiliated with AICTE approval. The Institute is rated among the top engineering colleges in Bangalore. The courses offered in SaIT Bangalore are five undergraduates, two postgraduate, and five research programs. The degree award for undergraduate (UG) courses is Bachelor of Engineering (B.E). The postgraduate (PG) degrees available in MBA and M.Tech in Computer Science engineering. All the engineering departments with qualified staff have VTU approval for the doctoral degree. Sambhram Institute of Technology enriches students' educational experience with industrial visits and proctorship.
Sambhram Institute of Technology course admissions is entrance exam based. Seat counseling for admissions to BE/B Tech is via KCET, COMEDK. Certain seats are allotted to the Management quota. To be eligible under the CET quota, applicants must qualify for the Sambharam College CET Cut off standards. If not, they can opt for management seats. Eligibility criteria include a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying board exams. Sambhram's college code for KCET and COMEDK is E113 and E114, respectively. The student intake matrix for BE is 45% KCET Quota, 5% SNQ Quota, 30% COMEDK, and 25% seats are limited to Sambhram Institute of Technology Management Quota.
Admissions to the Sambhram Institute of Technology MBA or M Tech are made through PGCET scores. The Institute has a separate section called Sambhram Centre for Admissions to help students through the admission process. Candidates with valid GATE scores are also eligible to apply for M Tech. And students who have performed well in national aptitude tests such as CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, or equivalent. 50% of seats will be filled through PGCET scores. The remaining 50% of seats are applicable for the candidates applying based on national-level exams.
The 10 acres of Sambhram Bangalore campus is set in wooded local. The institution has a student intake of 1200 with residential facilities. The college campus has provision for a digital library and canteen establishments. SaIT believes in enabling students with a wholesome education that balances co-curricular and extra-curricular.
Sambhram Institute of Technology hostel has separate dormitories for boys and girls. The hostel supplies students with clean, furnished rooms, laundry services, and food messes. The annual hostel fee for SaIT is INR 75,000/-. The Institute provides special accommodations in Sambhram Roost resort for international students. The Scenic housing is 10 minutes away from the main campus.
