The Sai Vidya Institute of Technology, which is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University, was founded in 2008 by the trust called Sri Sai Vidya Vikas Shikshana Smith And recognized by the Council of Technical Education of New India (AICTE) New Delhi, a renowned academic and administrator, with more than 50 years of experience, together with a distinguished team of famous teachers from RVCE / RNSIT. The institute's future in engineering education is bright as the excellent professors lead the departments and expand their service to build the facilities to support highly educated and highly qualified professionals. All the teaching and non-teaching staff is committed to the student's successful career life.
- Scholarships are provided for SC / ST candidates whose annual income is below INR 1Lac according to the rules of the Indian government and the State government.
- Fee concessions are provided for BPL families based on inferior cum merit.
- By merit, scholarships are awarded such as INR 10K for VTU toppers, INR 8K for 2nd place in VTU exams, INR 1250(books worth)for students who have a score between 3rd to 10th position, INR 2K cash for candidates who represent National level, State level competition.
Its primary mission is to provide high-quality technical advanced education and higher ethics, combined with qualified training to know modern technology and innovative concepts to learn and lead the future with total confidence. The institute's library center is aesthetically located in a 1250 m² three-story construction area, which offers sufficient space and the right environment.

Course details:
SVIT institute offers Bachelor of Engineering undergraduate programs in various streams with 4 years, 120 intakes for Electronics and Communication Engineering, and 60 intakes each for Mechanical, Information Science, Computer Science, Civil, and Electrical & electronics engineering streams. Master of Engineering is offered in computer science Engineering & VLSI &embedded systems branch with an intake of 18 and duration period of 2 years. Candidates seeking admission have to clear any relevant entrance exams. MBA PG course is offered with information of 60, and access will be based on the score obtained in PGCET, KMAT, GMAT, MAT, or any equivalent entrance exam marks.
