Rajalakshmi Educational Trust, whose members have extensive experience in the domains of education and industry, directed the establishment of Rajalakshmi Engineering College Chennai in 1997. B Tech, B Tech (Lateral), M Tech, and MBA are the available courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels of College. Candidates with requisite 10+2 marks qualify for Rajalakshmi Engineering College B.Tech admission. Students must then register for TNEA counselling based on 10+2 results. Anna University will administrate the TNEA Counselling and allot the seats for students. To be eligible for admission seats via counselling, applicants' TNEA Rank should be equivalent to the College cut-off. TNEA Rank list will be prepared by compiling the scores of 10+2. NBA accredits 11 Engineering Courses.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree for admission to the ME/ M.Tech and MBA programs. TANCET entrance exam scores are used to determine admission. Students must also participate in the counselling rounds. Rajalakshmi Engineering College's Counselling Code is 1211. 50% of students will be admitted through Anna University's Centralized State-level counselling. The remaining 50% of seats are reserved for Management Quota.
