Rajalakshmi Engineering College [REC] is located in Chennai and has received an "A" grade from NAAC. The College has signed MOUs with 15 international universities for academic advancement. Among all engineering colleges, The College's NIRF ranking in 2022 is 95. Besides, it has been ranked among the Top 5 Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu.  Rajalakshmi Educational Trust, whose members have extensive experience in the domains of education and industry, directed the establishment of Rajalakshmi Engineering College Chennai in 1997. The College is allied with Anna University. In the past 25 years, the REC has become robust and is working toward excellence in engineering education, research, and development.

B Tech, B Tech (Lateral), M Tech, and MBA are the available courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels of College. Candidates with requisite 10+2 marks qualify for Rajalakshmi Engineering College B.Tech admission. Students must then register for TNEA counselling based on 10+2 results. Anna University will administrate the TNEA Counselling and allot the seats for students. To be eligible for admission seats via counselling, applicants' TNEA Rank should be equivalent to the College cut-off. TNEA Rank list will be prepared by compiling the scores of 10+2. NBA accredits 11 Engineering Courses.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree for admission to the ME/ M.Tech and MBA programs. TANCET entrance exam scores are used to determine admission. Students must also participate in the counselling rounds. Rajalakshmi Engineering College's Counselling Code is 1211. 50% of students will be admitted through Anna University's Centralized State-level counselling. The remaining 50% of seats are reserved for Management Quota.

Rajalakshmi Engineering College's Fee Structure for B Tech is roughly INR 1.41 Lakhs. In contrast, the hostel fees are approximately INR 65k per annum.MBA admission seekers must pay INR 35k per year. For M Tech admission, the annual fees will be approximately INR 50,000.

Rajalakshmi Engineering College Admission 2025 will begin after the announcement of the TN 12th Board Results of the year 2025. For Admission, candidates are required to undergo the TNEA counselling process in 2025. First, you need to register for TNEA based on 12th Marks.
