In 1951, PSG College of Technology was established in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The institute is soon known as PSGCT as a private autonomous engineering college. The College is accredited to NAAC with an 'A' grade, and the CGPA scale is rated as 3.2 out of 4. PSGCT is all-time affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. AICTE also approves the College, and all the courses are based on UGC guidelines.
PSG College of Technology courses is available in Engineering, Management, Science, and Computer application stream at UG and PG level. B Tech, MBA, BSc+MSc, MCA, MSc, BSc, M Tech, and PGDM are the available courses. Students who have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate can apply for PSG College UG Courses. Candidates who have finished their UG/graduation can apply for PG courses.
B Tech Admission in PSG College of Technology depends on 10+2 merit followed by counseling. B Tech applicants must register for Online TNEA Counselling based on the 12th result. Later, Anna University will publish the TNEA Rank List/Merit List. Students with valid TNEA rank are eligible to participate in counseling. If an applicant's TNEA Rank is equivalent to the PSG College of Technology Cut off, they will have all the possibilities of getting an admission seat.
PSG College of Technology Counselling Code for TNEA is 2006. Students who don't reach the cutoff criterion will be eligible to opt for management seats. PSG College of Technology Management Quota fees for B Tech will be higher than the general fees. INR 3.53 Lakhs in total is a general fee for B Tech. For admission to the MCA, MBA, and M Tech, TANCET scores are required.
For admission to the BSc, students are required to appear for an online entrance test conducted at the institute level. Eligible applicants can fill out the PSG College of Technology Application Form, which will be available on the official website.
The PSGCT Coimbatore campus is spread over 45 acres of land in Coimbatore. The students are given access to their well-equipped library that holds up more than 1 lakh academic books that will help students. The eligible candidates can also apply for a PSG College of Technology scholarship per the Tamil Nadu government guidelines. Students can also choose PSGCT hostel accommodation if it is inconvenient to travel daily. PSG College hostel fees are INR 35 K per annum for boys, and for girls, it is INR 32 K per annum. By the end of the program duration, the candidates are also given appropriate placement training to get better job opportunities. The team has collaborations with National and Multi-National companies participating as the recruiters.
