The Northcap university Placement Cell Roles & Responsibility

Northcap University is the preferred destination for most MNCs. They hire students from different streams, such as Engineering, Management, and Law. Over 100 companies visit NCU to conduct placement drives every year. NCU holds an excellent placement record. The University has strong connections with various employers, from Startups to MNCs, across multiple sectors.

NCU established the School of Professional Attachment (SPA) to improve student employability skills. SPA works closely with students to find better job prospects with a wider industry reach. Efforts of SPA have resulted in a quality placement rate over the years. To date, most of the students have been placed in premier companies. NCU is proud of its alumni who have been serving in several sectors as technocrats, entrepreneurs, industrialists, and business managers.

NCU Gurgaon placement rates have increased over the last two years. In the 2020 recruitment drive, Northcap University's Highest Package was INR 35 LPA. The average Package is INR 4.8 LPA. NCU's Top Recruiters include IBM, Blue Star, HSBC, Protiviti, EY, etc.

The Northcap University Placement Cell

  • The University has a placement cell known as SPA. It is solely responsible for grooming students' overall holistic development and preparing them to face contemporary corporate challenges.
  • SPA offers soft skill training to improve students' employability and boost their Emotional Intelligence (EQ).
  • Under this task, SPA prepares students for all aspects of the placement process. That is done by administering online mock aptitude tests and organising Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs), GD, and so on. SPA also offers full-time or part-time industry internships to students for six to ten weeks.
  • SPA provides personal one-on-one counselling sessions to help bridge the gap. It scans all job profiles provided by companies and then holds interactive sessions with students to clear their doubts.
  • A thorough review of the systems and processes is performed regularly to ensure that the placement process runs smoothly, efficiently, and transparently.
  • SPA makes several efforts. Efforts include gathering additional leads from its alumni network and companies that have provided internships. It is to invite more companies and provide better placement opportunities for students.

The Northcap University Placements Trends: Salary Statistics course wise

NCU CSE branch holds a good placement rate compared to the other courses.

  • When it comes to average salary packages, an MBA comes out on top, followed by a CSE. Northcap University's average Package CSE is INR 6.5 LPA.
  • When it comes to the Highest Package, the CSE branch is on top, followed by the MBA. Northcap University CSE's Highest Package is 20 LPA.

The placement drive will be conducted on an annual basis. Northcap University average package for CSE stream graduates is INR 5.5 LPA.
