Shiv Nadar University Placement Cell Roles & Responsibility

Shiv Nadar University is one of the reputed private institutions of India. The university holds a great placement record. SNU Noida has recently started its placement drive for 2021-22. The students have received amazing job offers. SNU is well known for its world-class education and great placement rate. Every year, top-notch companies take part in the SNU placement drive. SNU has its Career Development Center (CDC). It prepares students from all streams to achieve a great graduation outcome. It also connects with companies to bring job opportunities for the students

As per Shiv Nadar University 2021-22 placement drive, over 16 candidates have received job offers. 7 among them were from the B.Tech CSE department. 4 students belonged to the ECE department, 3 from EEE, and 1 from the ME department. All of these offers are raised by ZS Associates. Various leading organizations have taken part in the 2021-22 placement drive. Some of the leading companies are Coca-Cola, Niti aAyog, BSNL, BHEL, etc.

In Shiv Nadar University 2020-21 placement drive, 149 companies participated. 78 new recruiters took part in the drive. There were a total of 512 students in the batch of 2021. 321 out of them got placed in various companies at different positions. Other candidates pursued higher studies and entrepreneurship. The highest CTC offered at SNU was 24 LPA. The average CTC remained at 7.82 LPA. The software industry became the dominating one. Most of the jobs were from this industry.

In the 2019-2020 placement drive, more than 320 companies participated. The batch strength was 557, and 310 among them got placed. The highest CTC offered was 31.5 LPA. The average CTC was 7.5 LPA.

Shiv Nadar University Noida placement cell

The placement cell of SNU is known as the Career Development Center. CDC takes care of all the affairs related to the placement of candidates. It performs in a well-structured frame.

CDC connects with the potential recruiter to bring various job opportunities.
It invites companies after selecting them based on their job profiles.
CDC also helps the students prepare for the job. It provides them with various exposure to ensure their skill enhancement.
CDC also conducts workshops, guest lectures, seminars throughout the year. This is conducted to help them appear for job interviews.

Shiv Nadar University Noida placement process

The placement drive starts from the last week of December every year.
The final year candidates and 7th-semester candidates can take part in the drive.
The applicants are required to register themselves to appear in the drive.
The CDC will invite the various companies to take part in the drive.
The company will release its JD and eligibility criteria.
The interested candidates can apply for the job.
The candidate will have to go through the various rounds of assessment.
The CDC will keep the candidates updated with their results.
The company will declare the final results.
