Kaziranga University Placement Cell Roles & Responsibility

Kaziranga University provides ample job opportunities by conducting a recruitment drive. It has established a career development & placement cell. It plays a vital role in guiding the students. This cell serves as a vital link between the stages of completion of the students' academic programs. Also, their formal entry into suitable employment. It also improves students' employability skills. It is done by providing specialized training in analytical skills, aptitude skills, technical skills, business skills, language skills, and online mock tests. The CDPC also organizes internship sessions for students. The university has not released the 2025 and 2024 placement reports. However, students can analyse the expected salary packages by looking into past year placement statistics.

Kaziranga University Placement: Internships

The University arranges summer internships and on-the-job work experience. But for a limited period of one to two months based on career interest or current field of study. These internships can be paid or unpaid, depending on the students' organization. KU internship training partners are listed below.

Kaziranga University Placement: Guidelines

  • Based on the following criteria, all KU students are eligible for placement.
  • A student must have at least 75% attendance in their classes. A student who has more than two active backlogs will be ineligible for placements.
  • As per the industry norms and requirements, a student should have a minimum CGPA of 5.5 in their respective discipline.
  • A student must attend at least 85% of the Career Development & Placement Cell's training and placement sessions (CDPC).
  • Once a student has been placed, they will not seek further placement until the entire batch has been placed.
  • However, it will be up to the KU administration to make necessary exceptions.
  • By signing the prescribed declaration form, a student can voluntarily opt-out of the campus placement process.
  • For records, all such students will be classified as "Opted out of placement."
  • Any student who obtains a job through their efforts must notify the campus placement committee for alumni record-keeping.
  • Any student found misbehaving with campus recruitment personnel. Both internal and external may be barred from campus placement with immediate effect.
  • The University makes no guarantees about placement.
  • Individual preferences for seeking placement will not be considered.

Students should be willing to attend off-campus placement drives as needed.
