Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam University (AKU), Indore is a State University which is having a separate Training and Placement Department which is focused mainly on training the students to be corporate ready. The T&P department is currently following Standard Professional Training Procedure for guiding its students in Personality Development, Body Language, Communication Skills and Positive Attitude building etc. by experienced and working professionals of corporate world.

The T&P department has been regularly conducting career counseling classes for the students to suggest them to choose proper career. The department is conducting psychology test and assistance for professional and personal improvement of the students.
