BITS Pilani is one among the Top Engineering Colleges in India. It is highly recognized in terms of quality technical education and placement. BITS is the most preferred destination for large companies. The majority of BITS Pilani students get placed with a decent CTC. Besides academics, The institute actively encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities. It helps them build a developed personality and improve soft skills.

BITS Pilani scheduled two placement seasons. In the first phase, Final year students get an opportunity to work in industry sectors. This process is called Practice School Programme. Here, they get a minimum of 7 months of work experience before graduation. This vital experience increases employability skills among students, and they adapt quickly to the work environment after getting placed. Whereas the second phase is the final placement process.

BITS Pilani 2021-22 Placement Drive is ongoing. To date, 329 graduates have received good offers. Top recruiters such as Microsoft, Walmart have participated in the drive. 71% of students got successfully placed. So far, 87 recruiters have taken part in the recruitment process. BITS Pilani has witnessed the Highest CTC of INR 1.33 CPA. Whereas, the average package was INR 28.99 LPA. Microsoft Company made the highest number of offers.

The number of students placed in the 2020-2021 BITS Pilani placement session was 1947. DE Shaw & Co & AppDynamics provided the highest package Rs. 45LPA.

The placement cell of BITS Pilani follows a well-organized and methodical recruiting procedure. Their procedure entails the following steps.:

It includes contacting the employer two months before the placement drive.
It obtains information about the job profile.
It examines the specifications and issues a formal invitation to the firm.
It educates pupils about the work profile.
It encourages qualified students to apply for the job.

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Placement Process

Every year, the BITS Pilani placement drive follows a specific method for placement. It develops over time. It works for both organizations and applying BITS Pilani students. BITS Pilani's full placement process is as follows.

The institute approaches employers about 2-3 months before the placement campaign.
Interested companies submit a job announcement form. It includes the needed profiles and other employment specifics. Students who meet the company's qualifying requirements apply for employment. This information is shared with the appropriate firms.
After the company reconfirms its arrival date and other data, the company gets a guest house. It includes other necessities.
Following the completion of the selection process, the company announces a list of selected applicants.
Students get an offer letter. These are thoroughly scrutinized, and a formal invitation is extended to the firms.
A date is scheduled for the recruiting selection and presentation procedure.
Students are educated about the firm, its arrival date, and other important details regarding the procedure on campus.
