Progressive Education Society's-Modern College of Engineering, also known as PES Modern College of Engineering, was established in 1999. The Education Society was established by five prominent teachers and experts in the field of education. Modern College of Engineering is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, the DTE, and the Government of Maharashtra. It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). In addition, the Institute is UGC recognized under 2(f) & 12(B) and NAAC accredited.
MCOE is an institute of higher education offering quality programs that integrate professional skills and career-focused education, empowering students to develop and achieve their personal and career potential. The Institute assists eligible graduates through training, seminars, workshops and counselling sessions to make them employable. The institution offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

PES Modern College of Engineering Course Admission
PESs Modern College offers admission to courses like B.Tech, M.E, MCA, and MBA.
Each course has got certain eligibility and selection criteria.
UG Admission
- For admission into the PES Modern College B.tech course, the candidates must have Passed the 10+2 examination( with 45% marks) or appear in or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as obligatory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology/ Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology/ Geology / Statics.
- Admission to the B Tech is based on JEE Main scores or MHT CET followed by CAP administrated by DTE Maharashtra.
- For admission into the B.Tech. (Lateral) course, the candidate must have a Polytechnic Diploma in relevant specialization with at least 45 % marks and passed XII standard examination with Mathematics as the subject or with English as the medium of instruction at the B.Sc. level
PG Admission
- The candidate must hold a graduate degree in the relevant field for admission into the ME course.
- For admission into the MCA and MBA course, the candidate must have a bachelor's with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45%for Backward Classes and Differently-abled persons of Maharashtra State only).
- Candidates with valid scores in GATE are eligible to apply for M Tech. Students who wish to apply for MBA or MCA must pass in MAH CET. Seats will be allotted based on merit through CAP (Centralized admission process)
PES Modern College MBA
- For admission into the MBA course, candidates must appear for the MAH MBA/ MMS CET. The candidates will be selected based on CAP Counselling.
- Candidates selected for the counselling process must report in person at the venue of the "Center of Counseling Round" to secure admission in this round of admission.
- After counselling, candidates must pay a processing fee of CAP Round-III: Rs.100/- in cash at the Center of Admission and obtain a receipt for the same.
- Pay the fees of INR 10000 in the form of DD drawn on "The Director, Technical Education", payable at Mumbai.

- Statement of marks of HSC, SSC, Bachelor's Degree Examination
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Caste/Tribe Validity Certificate Non-Creamy Layer certificate

PES Modern College of Engineering Facilities
The college has state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities, including spacious and well-ventilated classrooms, well equipped laboratories, a computer centre and a central library. All the departments in the college have a Seminar hall which is well-equipped to be used for various academic and extracurricular activities. The smart classrooms are designed accordingly to incorporate everything needed for a pleasant learning and teaching atmosphere. The whole campus is wifi enabled and sits on a wide area of lush greens.
