As per the Panjab University Distance Education prospectus, students are also expected to pay some additional fees as applicable to their respective courses:
- Continuation Charges = Rs. 100/- (To be paid by only candidates already registered with this University).
- Panjab University Registration Fee Rs. 500/- (To be paid by those candidates who still need to register.
- Eligibility Fees = Rs. 75/- (To be paid by those candidates who have passed the lower examination from the University/Board.
- Migration Fees = Rs. 500/- (To be paid by those candidates who have passed lower examinations from other Universities and Boards except CBSE, ICSE, PANJAB, HARYANA & HIMACHAL BOARD.
- Special Fees = Rs. 275/- (To be paid only by those candidates who apply for admission from a place outside the jurisdiction of PU (i.e., District Ludhiana, Hoshiarpur, Moga, Muktsar, Tehsil of Faridkot, Ferozepur, and Chandigarh).
- Rs. 300/- will be charged to each student as an online admission fee except for SC/ST/PWD. For these candidates, the fee is Rs. 150/-.
- The admission form fee of Rs. 75/- is to be charged only for the courses, if any, the admission to which is not online.
- BA and Advanced Diploma students must also pay Rs as a practical fee. 1240 and Rs. 1500, respectively.
