National Institute of Technology, Raipur (NIT Raipur) is a communal technical & research university. Formerly known as Government Engineering College Raipur. NIT Raipur Admission
Students seeking admission to the NIT Raipur must qualify for the national level entrance test per the course requirement. The JEE Main entrance scores select students for the NIT Raipur BTech program. The GATE entrance scores are considered for admission to the NIT Raipur MTech program. In addition, applicants must satisfy the cutoff criteria as defined by NIT.
NIT Raipur BTech Admission
The NIRF Engineering Rankings 2021 place NIT Raipur's BTech program at number 64. The program lasts four years and consists of eight semesters. The BTech program specializes in 11 engineering streams and has a total seat intake of 1118 students. For admission to the B. Tech program, candidates must pass the JEE Main exam and have cleared 10+2 in the science stream. Additionally, students must score equivalent to the NIT Raipur B Tech cutoff. JOSAA Counselling will carry forward the seat allotment process based on JEE Main rank.
NIT Raipur BTech Cut Off
The NIT Raipur BTech program selection process is two-tiered. To be considered for shortlisting, candidates must pass JEE Main 2022. Candidates must appear for the JoSAA counseling process after obtaining a valid JEE rank. NIT Raipur MTech Admission
The NIT Raipur MTech program is available in ten specializations. The duration of the M Tech course is two years, Except for the MTech in Applied Geology (three years). Candidates must have completed B.E./B.Tech as a requirement for basic eligibility.
