The National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) was founded in 1960 as the Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC) and upgraded to the National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK) in 2002. NITK provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees in Engineering, Science, and Management. NIT Karnataka's main program is B. Admissions at NIT Karnataka

NIT Karnataka, popular as NITK Surathkal, provides undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs in Engineering, Technology, Science, and Management. Entrance exams are required for admission to NIT Karnataka undergraduate and graduate programs. All courses have an online application process. Over the years, NITK has also maintained a strong placing record. JEE Advanced exam scores are used to determine B. Tech admissions. Candidates who obtain the required minimum score in the JEE Main test are eligible to take the respected exam. The Unreserved category (General category) has a minimum qualifying mark of 87.992241 and a maximum qualifying mark of 100. M-Tech Admissions at NIT Karnataka

For its students, NIT Karnataka M-Tech has ten specialities and an NIT Karnataka M-Tech (Research) degree. The first year's expenses are INR 1 lakh, including hostel and tuition fees. Postgraduate students must complete courses and a thesis or dissertation, including independent research, under the supervision of a faculty member.  GATE cut off at NIT Karnataka

MCA Admission at NIT Karnataka

NIT Karnataka provides a three-year full-time Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program, broken into six semesters. A min of 120 credits is required for an MCA degree. Major Project is worth 20 credits and is completed over one semester in the sixth semester (or as recommended by DPGC). In the Course Work, the student must have a CGPA of at least 5.50. To be eligible for NIT Karnataka MCA admission, you must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 60%. The NIT Karnataka MCA accepts candidates based on their performance in the NIT MCA Common Entrance Test.

How can I apply for an MCA degree?

  1. Applicants must register on the NIMCET website to apply for the MCA program.
  2. Candidates must complete all needed data in the form after registering.
  3. After filling out the form, they must submit it with the required money.
  4. In addition, NIMCET-eligible applicants must attend NIMCET Counseling.
  5. They must register and fill out the institution choice form during the counselling session.
  6. Applicants will be assigned a seat based on their qualifications and preferences.
  7. Candidates must go to the allocated centre for document verification and fee payment to confirm their seat assignment.

MBA Admission at NIT Karnataka

Since 2007, the School of Management at NIT Karnataka MBA course. The two-year full-time program's curriculum is up to date and matched with current industry trends. The program, interspersed with regular Seminars, Mini Projects, Skill Development Programs, and other activities, provides students with the tools they need to become effective professionals and excellent leaders. The NIT Karnataka MBA course lasts a minimum of four semesters and a maximum of four years. Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, and Operations and Analytics are among the MBA concentration options offered to students. NIT Karnataka has organized a summer school on the theme of "Geospatial Science and Technology" for the academic year 2022-23.   • The aspirant must have passed 10+2 in relevant field with 6.50 CGPA (on a 10 point scale) or equivalent in the qualifying examination from any recognized board.
  • And the aspirant must have born on or after October 01, 1991.
  • And the Final year appearing aspirant can also apply on provisional basis.

The main Admission Procedure is:

  • The Admission is through counselling based on rank in JEE mains.
  • And the admissions are based on score obtained in SAT through DASA scheme for Foreign Nationals/Persons of Indian Origin/ Non-Resident Indians/Overseas Citizen candidates.
