NIT Jamshedpur is one of the most prestigious engineering colleges in the country. It was previously known as the Regional Institute of Technology. It was established as a joint venture between the Government of Bihar and India in order to provide high-quality technical education for students. The NIT was declared an institute of national significance on 27 December 2002. The Ministry Of Education, which is the central government's education ministry, fully funds and manages it. NIT Jamshedpur Campus currently houses 12 departments that cater to 4000 students in different science, engineering, technology, and social science domains. It has also received excellent accreditations from the central educational authorities.
NIT Jamshedpur NIRF rank 2022 is therefore 90th among the top engineering colleges in India. There are many undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the institution in all streams. NIT Jamshedpur Courses offer B.Tech, M.Tech, and MCA programs, as well as Ph.D. programs in various streams. B.Tech is the flagship program. JEE Mains cutoff is followed by JOSAA counseling to determine the eligibility for admission. Students must also meet the eligibility criteria for course admission. NIT Jamshedpur M.Tech Admission
The college offers a postgraduate course M.Tech in 23 specializations. The NIT Jamshedpur M Tech fees are Rs. 1.03 Lakhs annually. NIT Jamshedpur M.SC Admission
The college offers MSC courses in three disciplines: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Computing. The annual fee for the course is around Rs. 1.03 Lakhs. The eligibility criterion for an MSc course is a B.SC degree in a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks. In addition, the candidates are required to produce an IIT JAM score followed by a CCMN counseling process. The CCMN counseling process starts in June and ends by July after the final seat allotment.

NIT Jamshedpur MCA Admission
NIT Jamshedpur offers MCA full-time program to its students. The fee is around Rs. 1.03 Lakhs annually. The eligibility criterion for the course is a graduation degree in computer applications. The candidate must also have a valid score for NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) examination. The results for the NIMCET examination are declared in the first Week of July. NIT Jamshedpur Ph.D. Admission
NIT Jamshedpur offers enough scope to contribute to the research & development of all domains through its doctoral programs. Therefore, the course is offered in two categories, namely:
Institute Scholar and Sponsored Scholars. The eligibility criterion is a master's degree in a relevant discipline. The admissions is based on a written test (UGC NET/CSIR NET/ GATE) followed by interview rounds. The admissions are generally conducted from July- August.
