The Nandha Engineering College (NEC) Erode was established in 2001. The AICTE, New Delhi, has approved the college to offer technical education. Besides, it holds NBA and NAAC accreditation for academic excellence. It has been affiliated with Chennai-based Anna University. NEC remains the flagship brand of Nandha Educational Institutions and is recognized as of the Top Engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Currently, the college is functioning with 3000 students enrolled in various streams. Besides, It comprises 250 faculty members who are highly competent in training the aspirants.
At NEC Erode, students can enroll in undergraduate or postgraduate programs in engineering, management, and computer application streams. The BE/B Tech, ME/M Tech, MBA, and MCA are the available Nandha Engineering College Courses. B Tech program is available in 12 disciplines, and the intake varies from 60 to 120. M Tech is available in 4 major disciplines. Being an autonomous institution, NEC offers a high degree of flexibility in learning with a standard course curriculum. Nandha Engineering College's autonomous syllabus has been framed in consultation with academic experts, industry experts, corporate experts, and alumni.
NEC has introduced innovations in the teaching and learning process. Under FFS Scheme (Flexible Faculty Selection System), students will be given independence in choosing their faculty. Students can earn the required credits before the final semester under CBCS (Choice Based Credit System). The student-faculty ratio is 1:20, and each faculty member will be trained to 20 students to cater to their academic needs and facilitate them as a mentor under the proctor scheme. Nandha Engineering College fees for B Tech are INR 50k per year. The fee for MBA admission is INR 35k per annum. Students applying for M Tech must pay INR 50k per year.
Nandha Engineering College admissions are based on the guidelines specified by Anna University and Tamil Nadu Government. Admission to the B Tech is made through TNEA Counselling, considering 10+2 merit. Students applying for PG courses, M Tech, MBA, and MCA, should appear for the TANCET Examination. The college offers several scholarships that students can apply for. Students who have achieved academic success are eligible for merit scholarships.
