MES College Erumely is the 1st unaided College of arts and sciences affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University. It was established in 1995. It received minority status as of September 2012. The College is located along the national road Eranakulam-Pampa 4 km from Erumely. The calm atmosphere and unpolluted air always provide a conducive environment for learning at the MES Campus. It is part of a network of educational institutes established and operated by the Muslim Educational Society.
The College is known for providing students with quality and professional education. Besides a robust teaching pedagogy, MES is also a leader in research and innovation. Moreover, the focus is given to activities beyond academics, evident from its infrastructure, extracurricular activities, and national & international collaborations. Hence, the College strived to be compassionate to the marginalized and needy.
The MES College Kottayam courses are available at UG and PG levels in several streams, such as arts, science, commerce, computer application, business administration, and social work. The available courses in MES College are BCA, BSC, BBA, B Com, MSc, M Com, MSW, and MA. Additionally, the College offers add-on programs and other job-oriented courses. MES College Erumely Fees Structure
The main objective of MES College is to provide vocationally oriented courses to mainly economically weak students and to provide quality education at an affordable cost. It is dedicated to imparting innovative teaching methods and proper training through highly qualified teachers.
Based on the marks obtained in the academic examination, a scholarship is offered at MES College for deserving students according to their effects. It also provides financial support to the economically disadvantaged through a grant in the fee structure, and the SC/ST grant is also provided through state sectors.

MES College Erumely Admission
Admission to MES College follows the guidelines of Mahatma Gandhi University. Selection of candidates for UG & PG courses is based on academic merit followed by CAP (Centralized Allotment Process).
- To be admitted to UG courses, candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam with a minimum overall score from a recognized board.
- For PG courses, applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant specialism from a recognized institution.
- The mode of the application process is entirely online. Applicants should visit the official website (@ cap.mgu.ac.in)
- As the main step, applicants are required to register online. Then, fill out the application form for CAP Process and submit it by paying the required application fee, approximately INR 1100 for general applicants and INR 550 for SC/ST applicants.
- Later MGU will finalize the student's merit list based on their last qualifying exam marks. And then, the seat allotment process will take place.
- University will not entertain any request for change of any date fixed in the Centralised Allotment Process/Admission from time to time.
There is also a provision for MES College Erumely Management quota admission. Students who are interested in securing admission under the management quota must fill out a separate application form. Admission seekers can access the MES College application form through College's official website.
MES College Erumely placement
The placement records are quite good. The main aim of the placement cell is to impart career opportunities and guidance to the students. They conduct many seminars, camps, and counseling sessions for the students' career. The College also provides an internship facility for some of the students' courses. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, HCL, IBM, TCS, and many more visit the College for campus recruitment. The average salary offered is around INR 2.4 LPA.
MES College Erumely Infrastructure and Facilities
The infrastructure of the MES College campus is exceptional, as well as the best facilities, and offers a dynamic environment for active learning. The College has an attractive library, which is digitalized, and is also an attractive knowledge center. In addition, there is a cafeteria on the campus, which serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The cafeteria also has a snack bar and a coffee vending machine. There is also a volleyball court and a football ground on the campus.
The books are graded using the "Dewey Decimal Grading" system and are arranged on the shelf accordingly. The library is fully automated using the latest and most up-to-date KOHA Integrated Library Management 20.05 open-source software. The library makes its catalog available via WEBOPAC (Online Research Tool for Students and Teachers) and can be accessed anywhere on campus. A large area is available for reading, and a reference area with laptop charging facilities.
