Mar Baselios College B Tech is available in five disciplines: Civil, CSE, ECE, EEE, and Mechanical, with an annual intake of 120 seats each. Even M Tech is available in the same streams. Mar Baselios College B Tech Admission is based on the entrance exam, such as KEAM, and active counseling, administrated by CEE (Commissioner Entrance Exam). 50% of seats will be filled through CEE counseling based on merit in KEAM by the reservation policy prescribed by Kerala Government. Students must satisfy the Mar Baselios College of Engineering Cut off to be eligible for admission under CEE. The remaining 50% of seats are reserved for Mar Baselios College Management Quota and NRI Quota. The college code for the CEE Seat allotment is MBT.
Admission to M.Tech courses is based on the GATE exam scorecard and participation in the Kerala government's centralized admissions process. Candidates shall have a GGPA of 6.0 or 60% aggregate marks in the engineering degree exam. Candidates who have passed AMIE or AMIETE Examinations with 55% are eligible to apply if they have a valid score in GATE. At first, seat allocation preference will be given for GATE qualifiers. In case seats remain vacant, the NON-GATE applicants from Kerala State will be granted admission. Again if seats remain vacant, candidates from other than Kerala state will be preferred.
Facilities at Mar Baselios include smart classrooms, practical labs, separate hostels for boys & girls, a library, Wi-Fi, transport facilities, sports facilities, a canteen, and an auditorium. Mar Baselios placement cell assists the students in offering ample job opportunities by arranging an on-campus recruitment drive. The placement unit regulates contact with brands and invites them to show active participation in the institute's placement drive. Additionally, the placement unit organizes various training, including industrial visits, soft-skills training, guest lectures, aptitude exams, group discussions, mock sessions, etc.
During the placement drive, several recruiting companies visited the campus, including Federal Bank, Wipro, IBM, Cognizant, Hexaware, Tata Consultancy Services, SAP, Siemens, Accenture, Capgemini, and others. According to 2021 Statistics, Out of 351 eligible, 203 students have been placed. However, Mar Baselios College Average Package stood at INR 3 LPA.
