Smt.Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture, also known as SMMCA, Nagpur, was formed in 1993. Earlier, SMMCA was one of the educational departments of the architecture of the LAD College. Then it got recognized as a college after the permission granted by the Council of Architecture (COA) and the Maharashtra Government. The objective of the SMMCA is to create an ideal environment to equip the candidates with analytical and practical skills and impart the best quality of education in the Architecture domain. SMMCA has a state-of-art infrastructure with the best academic facilities, Well-experienced and highly professional faculties, great library. Thus, it creates a vibrant atmosphere for aspiring architects for effective learning.
- SMMCA offers a bachelor’s degree, B Arch, for five years with a total intake of 120 students annually. It provides a master’s degree M Arch for two years with an annual intake capacity of 20 seats. Also, it offers a research program Ph.D. in Architecture for two years of duration with a total intake of 20 seats.
- SMMCA fees structure for B. Arch course costs approximate INR 96,500 per annum, and the total fee ranges up to INR 4.8 Lakhs, fees for M. Arch course costs approximate INR 67,000 per annum hence for the entire course duration fee expenses up to 1.3 Lakhs.
- Admissions for B.Arch. The course at SMMCA will be provided based on NATA Score. Candidates should be eligible with a 50% aggregate score in the 10+2 examination in the science stream.
- M. Arch admissions at SMMCA will be granted based on the candidate's score acquired in MAH-CET Entrance Exam, which DTE, Maharashtra, will conduct. Minimum Eligibility is candidates shall have done bachelor’s degree B Arch with a 55% aggregate score.
- SMMCA Scholarships will be offered for the students who have secured the highest marks in the academic examination.
- SMMCA Placement scenario is good, and it arranges campus placement drives for the students. Several reputed companies like Godrej, Arcons, Modi Associates, VK Associates, Choudary Consultants, Endratesh architects, and many more companies visited the campus for the recruitment drive.
Smt.Manoramabai Mundle College of Architecture provides the finest hostel facility for girls, More than 200 students can accommodate. It has a hygiene canteen, Coffee Kiosk near the campus, Spacious classrooms, Seminar Hall, Workshop Lab, Survey Lab, Environmental Lab, Well-stocked library, Conference Hall, Advanced Computer Lab with internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi-enabled campus.
