Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering Admission
Here at MITE, the admission process is meticulously organized by the Admission Cell. They ensure adherence to government regulations for seat allotment in various courses.
For Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), MITE follows the seat-sharing matrix set by the Government of Karnataka:
- 45% of seats are filled through the Common Entrance Test (CET).
- 30% of seats are filled via COMED-K.
- 25% of seats are allotted through MITE Mangalore management quota.
MITE offers an MBA program with dual specializations in Marketing & Finance or Marketing & Human Resource Management. Admission is open to graduates with a minimum aggregate of 50% in arts, commerce, or science streams. Selection is based on entrance test scores such as PGCET (Karnataka), MAT, KMAT, or CAT.
Eligibility Criteria
- BE: Candidates must have 50% marks in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
- M.Tech: Applicants should have passed B.E/B.Tech with 50% marks.
- MBA: Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in any stream.
