Malabar College of Engineering and Technology (MCET) began in 2009 and is currently functioning under the aegis of IQRA Educational and Charitable Trust. The College was established as an excellent center through Industrial Consultancy Services and Academic research at National Level.
MCET is a private engineering college with its affiliation to the University of Calicut and approval from AICTE, New Delhi, for provided quality education in engineering at the UG & PG level, namely B.Tech and M.Tech. Five specializations are available in the B.Tech course, and four specializations are available in the M.Tech course.
- MCET Thrissur Admission process for the courses will be based on entrance exams such as AIEEE, CET-K, UGET, GATE, JEE Main, and KEAM.
- INR 200000/- for four years of B.Tech course and INR 100000/- for two years of M.Tech course is the MCET Thrissur Fee Structure that the Admission Committee sets.
- 200 Boys intake with triple seater and 400 Girls intake with all necessary facilities and security are available in MCET Thrissur Hostel.
- MCET Thrissur Application process is held in online mode through the College’s official website or offline mode by visiting the campus and paying the application fee either through DD or by Cash.
MCET is having 15 luxurious buses available for the student's transport convenience, and it is utilized by almost 60% of the total strength of the college. The College is providing other facilities such as Library, Canteen and it also has a playground promoting outdoor sports and indoor games.
