Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, initiated its correspondence cell in 1988 and then expanded it into Maharshi Dayanand University Directorate of Distance Education, Rohtak. DDE aims to provide opportunities for a larger segment of society who live remotely to pursue their higher education. MDU Distance education courses are available in 13 UG and PG programs, which UGC-DEB officially recognizes. MDU-DDE is NAAC accredited with an 'A' grade.
