Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research, commonly known as MIMER, is a private among the leading private medical institutions. Located in Pune, Maharashtra, the institute was established in early 1994.   • A 5 academic year-long MBBS course is offered at the MIMER. The course is provided at the undergraduate level and held in Medical Science.
  • Along with 5 academic years, the MBBS course also provides 1 year of the internship program.
  • Students are admitted to the MBBS program at MIMER through the entrance examination.
  • The eligibility criteria for MBBS admission at MIMER Pune require the candidates to pass 10+2 or any equivalent examination.

  • Maharashtra Institute MBBS Admission is granted based on NEET followed by counselling.
  • NEET is a common entrance examination conducted at the national level. It is held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  • Admission in the MBBS program is offered under 2 categories: All India seats and Maharashtra state quota seats.
  • 85% of the total intake at is sanctioned to the candidates applying to the state quota of Maharashtra. For the remaining 15% of seats, admission will be guaranteed to the candidates applying under NRI or Management Quota in MIMER Pune.
  • The NEET State level counselling will be administrated by the Director of Medical Education and Research, Maharashtra.
  • Following NEET Results, candidates have to register for counselling sessions. If a candidate's NEET Merit rank is equivalent or greater than the MIMER Pune NEET Cut off percentile, the seat will be allotted via counselling.

For MBBS there are 100 recognised seats, the institute is recognised by Medical Council of India. Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research fee structure of MBBS in total is around INR 47.36 lakhs so this is the general fee for those SC/ST candidates fee structure of MBBS is approx. INR 5k as total fee provided all the required and valid documents. When it comes to admissions MIMER MBBS admissions will be through counselling of NEET followed by confirming the seat with the college. if you ask me about the hostel, I would give positive reviews because the facilities, fees and amenities are worth it is INR 73k-1 lakh.

For MBBS admission at Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research, you should attain a valid score in NEET entrance examination conducted in the month of March every year. The basic admission criteria set by the institute for admission is written test and counseling.

  • Admission at Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education & Research for MBBS admission are minimum 50% marks in aggregate in 10+2 along with a valid score in NEET entrance examination. 
  • Fee structure for the course is approximately INR 2950000/- for the entire course.
