Madras Christian College autonomous was set up in Chennai in 1837. It is located at Tambaram East, Tambaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In 2013, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) re-accredited Madras Christian College with an ‘A’ Grade. The college is accredited with an A grade with NIRF rank 18th under the college category in the year 2021. It is a Co-Ed institution. Madras Christian College Admission Process
A student is eligible for admission to Madras Christian College at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Various undergraduate programs are offered for a three-year duration within several departments. Admission to these courses is granted to a student's 10+2 Exam score. MCC provides on-campus placements to its students and for practical training, it offers internship programs. The college offers on-campus placements to most of the students who are placed in the top finance and IT companies. It invites many reputed companies to the campus every year.
At Madras Christian College placement for the 2020 batch at the UG level was completed in November, with 90% of students placed in the B.Com stream and 85% in the BCA stream.
