The Madan Mohan Malaviya University is a premiere educational institution set up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh in 2013 as non-affiliating teaching & research university. The institute was initially set up 60 years ago as Madan Mohan Malviya Engineering College; later, the college was turned into a university. Recently, MMMUT Gorakhpur was conferred with an "A" Grade by NAAC. It has become the 1^st state university in Uttar Pradesh to get NAAC accreditation. The MMMUT Gorakhpur B.Tech admission process is made through scores of MET. MMMUT Gorakhpur B. Pharma admission

The four-year full-time course is offered through the CUET examination. The minimum marks required in 10+2 are 55%, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology compulsory subjects. The program also invites lateral entry to the course in the second year, where the candidate needs to hold a diploma degree in pharmacy with a minimum of 45% marks. The qualifying examination, in this case, is not a compulsory option. However, the final seat allocation process will be done through counselling.

The University provides admissions to postgraduate courses, and one of the major courses is M Tech, which is offered in more than 7 disciplines. Admission to the MCA program is made through the CUET-PG examination conducted in August. The eligibility requirement is that candidate must have passed a bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or any relevant bachelor's degree with 50% marks. MMMUT Gorakhpur MCA fees is INR 85k.
