The Lucknow Christian College is among the few Christian minority colleges in Uttar Pradesh that intend to promote higher education in all fields of interest. Moreover, it is a public institute with NAAC accreditation and is allied with Lucknow University. The college came into existence in 1862. Lucknow Christian Degree College was established much before Lucknow University's existence. Henceforth, initially, it was allied with Calcutta University. In 1889 the college started offering a degree in arts and science streams. Currently, the college offers admission to the B Com, BA, B.P.Ed., BSc, MSc, and MA in various specializations.
