Loyola College (LC) was started in the year 1925 by the Society of Jesus which is a Catholic Minority institution. The aim is to provide education to the weaker sections of the society irrespective of creed, religion, caste etc. The college is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) by grade A and is affiliated to University of Madras.
