The Institute is a constituent of Delhi University, established in 1965, located in Delhi. The Institute of LBC focuses on providing education to Women candidates. The Institute is affiliated with the University of Delhi and runs under the Govt of Delhi. AICTE approves the Institute, and it is recognized by UGC that has ranked at 36th position for Arts by India Today. The Institute has a very determined and dedicated faculty team who are committed to their job. The faculties are not only restricted only to teach by the books. The Institute of LBC is spread over 10 acres with lush green land with modern facilities to make students better on the campus. Along with a magnificent campus, the Institute offers several courses in UG and PG programs. In addition, the College also provides few add-on programs in various disciplines.
- The Institute has SAFA software downloaded to differently-abled students on their computers for them to learn typing.
- LBC has different departments like Science, Economics, Commerce, Hindi, English, Mathematics, History and Home Science.
- Add-on programs like Diploma, Certificate and several programs in a foreign language, Vedic Mathematics, Machine Learning, Women & Legal Literacy are provided by the Institute.
