Initiated and came into function in 1999 under the constituent of Nitte University and was named K.S Hedge Medical Academy. The institute's name was kept after the founder, Late Justice K S Hedge, who was the former judge in the Supreme Court.

I am pursuing MBBS course at KSHMA, Mangalore right now am in final year. I wish to confess it is one of the best medical college and it is approved by Medical Council of India. To say about course curriculum it is actually well structured and comprehensive. KSHMA has ranked 21st position among top medical colleges in the year 2017.KSHMA admissions for MBBS will be given through NEET score and selection will be done through counseling. KS Hegde Medical Academy fee structure for MBBS course costs approximate 14 Lakhs Per annum fee is quiet high. KSHMA Scholarships are provided for the reserved categories and in order to lower the expenses educational loans are offered
