KEC Erode was established under the sponsorship of Kongu Vellalar Institute of Technology Trust (KVIT Trust). The college is allied with Anna University and has approval from AICTE. For academic excellence, NAAC has accredited Kongu College with the highest grade, "A++." KEC offers UG and PG courses in various streams, such as Engineering & Technology, Management, Science, and Computer Applications. BE/B Tech and BSc are the UG Courses offered at Kongu Engineering College. KEC offers MBA, M Tech, and MCA at the PG level. KEC Erode Admission is based on entrance tests and academic merit.
BE Courses in Kongu Engineering College are available in 14 disciplines. Students who wish to enroll in BE/B Tech must participate in TNEA Counselling, administrated by Anna University. B Tech admission seekers have to register for counseling based on 10+2 marks. Later, Anna University will release the merit list, in which TNEA Rank will be assigned to each registered applicant based on 10+2 marks. Students whose names are specified on the merit list/rank list must attend counseling. Kongu Engineering College Counselling Code for TNEA is 2711.
To be admitted to the M.Tech, MCA, and MBA programs, TANCET scores are accepted. Students can nonetheless apply for admission to the M.Tech. Program if they have a valid GATE score. However, students must also qualify for the required Cut off marks for Kongu Engineering College. While admission to the BSc is based on academic merit. Students can apply based on their 10+2 marks by filling out the KEC Erode application.
