The Knowledge Institute of Technology (KIOT) Salem was established in 2009. NAAC accredited KIOT with an A Grade, a 3.08 out of 4.00. It has been accredited by NBA as well. It is affiliated with Chennai-based Anna University. The institute's main objective is to promote academic growth by offering state-of-the-art UG, PG, and doctoral programs. And to hunt global standards of excellence in all endeavors, namely consultancy, teaching, and research. KIOT Salem has been awarded the "Best Upcoming Engineering College" in Tamil Nadu.
Moreover, KIOT has been promoted by 22 academicians in engineering, 7 working professionals in India/Abroad, and 15 budding entrepreneurs. Most promoters have rich experience in teaching and administration at the National and International levels. The promoters' composition is a testimony of KIOT's quality of education. In addition, these promoters engage directly in students' teaching and career molding.
The institute provides AICTE-approved courses. Knowledge Institute of Technology Courses offered in B Tech, M Tech, MBA, and Ph.D. courses. Students must first satisfy the institute's eligibility requirements before applying for admission to the KIOT Salem course. Furthermore, all the engineering programs are NBA accredited. KIOT Salem fees for B Tech are INR 50k per annum. The total fee for M Tech is INR 1 Lakh for two years. KIOT MBA fees is INR 50k per annum.
Knowledge Institute of Technology Course admission is done per the guidelines specified by Anna University and Tamil Nadu Government. Registration for TNEA is required to be admitted to the KIOT Salem BTech program. The merit of the prerequisite exam determines admission. Following the declaration of the 10+2 results, the TNEA Merit list will be published. Students who secure TNEA Merit rank have to attend counseling. Later, seat allocation will be based on their ranks; preferences expressed, etc.
Admission to the M.E./M. Tech program, students can take the GATE or TANCET examinations. Students must appear for TANCA counseling for the seat allocation if their names are on the merit list drawn after the results announcement. Admission to the MBA is also based on TANCET results, followed by counseling. Knowledge Institute of Technology Counselling Code is 2653. The last step in the admission procedure is for the chosen candidates to submit the required paperwork and make payment.

Knowledge Institute of Technology Placements
The KIOT placement cell has been functioning since 2009. It sets up campus interviews for the placement of final-year students. In addition to final placement, it also offers internships. In addition, students from the nation and the state participate in the KIOT's off-campus placement effort.
To improve the student's skills, the Centre for Career Development and Training (C-CDT) offers a variety of training programs. For example, the placement training includes instruction in communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, entrepreneurial, value and ethical, interview, life, and programming skills, among other things.
Over the years, Knowledge College has maintained a fantastic placement record. Every year, placement rates for the participating batch exceed 90%. In addition, MBA students received internship offers as part of the ongoing internship placement drive for the summer of 2022. As a result, the students received a maximum monthly stipend of INR 75,000. Knowledge Institute of Technology's Average Package range is INR 3 LPA.
