KLE Nijalingappa College, established in 1963, is a prestigious institution within the KLE Society. It began its journey as a Science College in a rented building on MG Road, and later moved to its current location in 1966. The founding Principal, Dr. V.G. Nelivigi, played a vital role in establishing the College and securing its inclusion under sections 2(f) and 12(B) of UGC.
Over the years, the College has witnessed significant growth in the variety of courses offered, quality improvements, an increase in the number of students and staff, and infrastructural development. The College is proud to celebrate its Golden Jubilee in 2014, marking 50 years of successful service to the community.
