King George's Medical University was in 1911. The institution is committed to disseminating and advancing knowledge in biomedical sciences and establishing itself as a center of excellence in tertiary-level health care in the state. The college was affiliated with Allahabad University. King George's Medical University is situated in the heart of the historic city of Lucknow, which is the capital of India’s most populous state Uttar Pradesh. In the 19th century, the town was known as the seat of Nawabs of Awadh and the center of the arts - music, painting, dance, ‘shatranj' or chess, kite flying, and ‘tehzeeb' or culture. The university campus adjoins the crowded ‘Chowk' area and is off Shahmina Road, very close to River Gomti.
The university campus is spread over an area of 100,000 sq meters. It is situated about 5 km from Charbagh Railway Station and is connected to all parts of the city by public transport systems such as bus, tempo, and taxi.

King Georges Medical University admission process can take place in online mode. Candidates can visit the official website, register for the program, fill in the form online, pay the application fees, and attach the docs.

The minimum eligibility criteria for B.Sc. nursing admissions is to have passed 10+2 board exams in PCM subjects as mandatory with a minimum of 45% marks. The selections will be based on B.Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam.

Admission to BDS is required.

A valid NEET UG score obtained at the All India Level is required for admission to the BDS at King Georges Medical University. Therefore, 70 seats will be filled based on UP NEET counseling and NEET UG score. KGMU NEET cut-off for BDS is 14103 - 17038.
