Kavikulguru Institute of Technology and Science is managed by Vodithala Education Society which is affiliated with Nagpur University (RTMNU). This institute came into existence in the year 1985 established in Nagpur to provide education in science and technology.
- KITS offers courses like BE, B.Arch, M.Tech, and Ph.D. for which the admissions are provided only if the candidates seeking admissions would have appeared for entrance exams like MHT-CET and GATE, respectively. The applicants have to apply online only after they have appeared for the entrance exam.
- KITS has a seminar hall equipped for conducting presentations, quizzes, guest lectures, and other activities. There are a total of 3 seminar halls and one conference hall. KITS’ library is built in 1020 sq. meters with a seating capacity of 200 students.
- KITS training and placement department are excellent, which takes up the significant role of grooming students for a future career. Many companies come and conduct campus drives for students from KITS and students from another college.
KITS hostels are excellent and furnished. These are located on the campus where two blocks of hostels are provided for boys, namely Triveni and Jamuna, with the capacity of housing 279 and 246 students. 2 other blocks are provided for girls, namely Old Kaveri and New Kaveri, with the housing capacity of 120 and 281 students.
