Katihar Medical college is located in Katihar, Bihar, as a deemed medical college. This medical institute was the idea of the al-Karim Minority group of Bihar and was also started. Back in 1987 the college came into existence offering UG as well PG courses, it is been maintained by a trust and has the recognition from MCI. On an average the annual intake of student admits to the college for the course is 100. Candidates are selected based on their performance in 12th board PCB marks as well through National eligibility entrance test that is NEET. Finally Katihar Medical College admissions to MBBS is through NEET counselling. When I checked for the fee felt it is quite expensive so KMC fee structure of MBBS as a whole is close to 52 lakhs, then per year fee will go up to INR 12 lakhs per annum when the whole fee is split and cleared per annum wise. KMC fee of hostel for one year is INR 75k provided very good facilities and amenities to the students.
