Kanad Institute of Engineering and Management started its academic year in 2008 with the memory of the great mathematician named Kanad. The formation was started with a vision to encourage technical knowledge and it takes superiority in being located in the purlieu of Dr. B. C. Roy’s vision. The institute is putting a little exertion in bringing-up the infrastructure in adding abilities of uppermost profile essential for the nation.
- KIEM is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to MAKAUT for offering courses to the students and it is also certified with ISO 9001:2008.
- The institute conducts regular assessment tests in order to evaluate the skills on several facets of the students for the improved career opportunities.
- The students are provided with study material by the faculty members for before each semester commencement for better scoring in exams and for a positive career.
- KIEM offers Scholarship for the students with great academic record and they are even awarded with prizes for motivating them for their effort in the academics.
The classrooms in the institute are equipped with modern technologies such as LCD projectors, OHPs and PA systems etc. and the faculty members are available even after the class hours for the students to clear any doubts regarding eth course also for remedial and problem solving sessions. The students studying in the institute are provided with training and placement opportunities with companies such as Infoway, Rumi Engg., IFB, Tech Mahindra etc.
