Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology is located in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Initially, it was established as the Faculty of Technology in 1976 by Kamla Nehru Memorial Trust. Later in 1976, it was taken over by the Uttar Pradesh Government to develop as a full-fledged Engineering College in the Eastern UP region, commonly known as Awadh Region. It was afterward renamed the Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology and registered as a distinct society in 1983. KNIT Sultanpur is one of the leading technical colleges and is also responsible for producing top-grade engineer professionals with skill sets comparable to the best in the world. Currently, the College is allied with AKTU Lucknow. The KNIT Sultanpur Courses include full-time B.Tech, M.C.A., M.Tech, and Ph.D.
Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology Course admission depends on the entrance test result. KNIT Sultanpur Admission Process will be done according to the norms of AKTU Lucknow. For admission to B Tech and MCA, students must qualify in UPSEE and are required to participate in UPSEE Counselling. The seat allotment procedure will be approved through counseling. However, it is also important for the students to score according to the KNIT Sultanpur Cut off requirements.
Admission to M Tech is based on GATE scores followed by centralized counseling. Such applicants must satisfy the KNIT Sultanpur GATE Cut off. In case seats remain vacant after counseling, admission will be granted for Non-GATE students based on their previous qualification degree marks. For Part-Time M Tech in KNIT, applicants must sit for an entrance test and undergo an interview at the institute level. Part-Time admission seekers can apply directly by filling out the KNIT Sultanpur admission form through the website.
The demands of the students in terms of placement are taken care of by a dedicated KNIT Sultanpur placement cell. B Tech is available in 7 disciplines with an annual intake of 60 seats.
