Kamla Nehru College was established in 1964 in the defense colony and named Government College for Women. In 1975 college campus moved to fort road and got its new name Kamla Nehru College. KNC is affiliated with Delhi University and accredits by an "A" grade by NAAC. KNC offers various courses under multiple streams at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
