Jyothi Engineering College Thrissur was founded in 2002 under the sponsorship of the Catholic Archdiocese of Trichur. NAAC has approved the JEC with a grade of "B." In addition, five of the UG programs offered by JEC have NBA accreditation, which indicates that the college is well-recognized for its quality education. The college is affiliated with KTU, Thiruvanthapuram, and is approved by AICTE. It is committed to offering all requirements in curricular and extracurricular ares of technical education to aspirants and molding them with soft skills and technical knowledge.
To help candidates become "Job Creators" rather than "Job Seekers," Jyothi College has set up Technology Business Incubator. The central vision is to create technology-oriented new enterprises and foster an entrepreneurial spirit among candidates. In addition, JEC provides a vibrant, beautiful, environmentally friendly campus and excellent infrastructure to aid the teaching & learning process.
JEC offers B Tech in 8 disciplines and M Tech in four disciplines. The available branches in B Tech are Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, ECE, Mechatronics, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Robotics & Automation. The annual intake for each branch is 63, but the seats for mechanical and CSE branches are limited to 126. Jyothi Engineering College Thrissur fees for B Tech is INR 54k per annum, which includes tuition fees, placement training, university fees, one-time fees, and caution deposit. In comparison, the fee structure for M Tech is INR 47k per annum.
Admission to the B Tech is based on KEAM, followed by counseling CEE. GATE Exam scores determine admission to M Tech. To be eligible for Merit Quota, students are required to satisfy the Jyothi Engineering College Cut off. However, certain seats are reserved for the Management Quota. Therefore, students with a low ranking in KEAM can opt for the Jyothi Engineering College Management quota.
The college features two dorms: Santhome for boys and Marian for girls. Hostel students have access to amenities like a TV room and indoor activities. In addition, a range of food items is available at affordable costs in the Canteen. The hostel fees will be approximately INR 39k per annum.

Jyothi Engineering College Thrissur Placement
In the academic year 2005–2006, Placement and Training (PAT) was established. Numerous well-known MNCs, the bank sector, and other businesses visit the campus. Additionally, the PAT team facilitates and delivers training for staff and students. The placement cell also offers effective career guidance to the candidates. Experienced professionals from industry and academia are members of the Placement & Training Cell. The team is committed to giving the kids the best education possible and preparing them to enter the workforce.

Jyoti Engineering College Thrissur placements are outstanding because we have 100% placements.
